High Street Fashion for Versatile Wedding Outfits

With the cost of traditional weddings increasing all the time many marrying couples are looking at ways to save money. One of the simplest ways to achieve this is by buying wedding outfits from the High Street rather than old fashioned bridal stores.

A few of the main fashion chains are catching on to this idea and dedicating entire departments selling bridal and occasion wear. Not only does this save money but often the outfits are versatile enough to be worn again for parties and other formal occasions.

While the bride may still want a traditional wedding dress she can easily compromise by buying her bridesmaids outfits at a chain such as Coast who have a wide selection of trendy outfits perfectly suited for adult bridesmaids and wedding guests.

The groom and his attendants can also save money by buying regular fashion suits rather than hiring or buying expensive formal wear. A smart suit can be worn many times over and if bought wisely will last for years.

6 Spring Wedding Fashion Trends For 2011

Spring Wedding Fashion TrendsSpring is around the corner and so is the spring wedding. A wedding in spring has its own beauty; color is back in nature with trees shining with new leaves, the grass is green once more and beautiful flowers blooming everywhere. A spring bride has the chance of wearing bright girlish color to compliment the colorful nature outside. So if you are planning to be a bride this spring or attending the marriage of your favorite cousin/friend, here are some tips to help you out.

• First is color. A spring bride can choose romantic colors like pink or red over pastel colors like white, ivory, lavender or yellow. You can give a modern twist by wearing a dress with combination of pink and lime green. That can double up as your wedding theme as well.

• The style of wedding dress is heavily leaning on vintage especially those from 50's and 60's. If you don't want to go all the way, you can try one or two items that are classic vintage and reminiscent of the era like retro birdcage bird veil.

Men’s Fashion – What To Wear For A Wedding

Choosing the correct wedding attire can be quite straight forward for some men, while for others the task can seem quite daunting. Following the correct theme and dress code for the wedding will be an essential starting point and for most formal weddings this will consist of a suit for the men.

If you are part of the main wedding party it is likely that you will be required to follow the main theme and colour scheme, which will probably have already been decided for you, this will usually solve any dilemmas you may have had. If you are a guest, but not part of the main party, then you will have to give some more consideration to your choice of attire.

As a general rule, most men in the wedding party will wear a tuxedo if not a suit is just fine. Often there may be a clue in the wedding invitation, as to the dress code that may be expected on the big day, or if you are still in some doubt then ask the hosts, its better to do this rather than arrive in something completely inappropriate and stand out from the crowd for all the wrong reasons.
